We are seeking a Scientific Solutions Associate for an initial 3-month contract to accelerate lead generation and push as many prospects as possible through our sales pipeline. The primary focus of this role is to identify, qualify, and advance potential clients to the contract negotiation stage, where final closure will be handled in collaboration with the Founder. GENOS LLC is a bioinformatics contract research organization (CRO) providing computational solutions for biotech companies and research institutions. Our services span omics data analysis, molecular dynamics, and translational studies, enabling research teams to effectively manage and analyze complex biological data. We are based in Puerto Rico and aim to serve clients in both local and USA markets.

Role Description

The Scientific Solutions Associate will be responsible for driving lead generation efforts, managing outreach campaigns, and ensuring a steady flow of qualified prospects into the sales pipeline. The associate will work closely with the Founder to advance deals and support contract negotiations. Success in this role requires a proactive approach to client engagement, strong technical communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple leads simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify and engage with local Puerto Rico-based clients in biotech, pharmaceutical, and academic sectors.
  • Push qualified leads through the sales pipeline and coordinate follow-ups to maintain engagement.
  • Schedule R&D team consultations to assess client needs and recommend appropriate bioinformatics solutions.
  • Collaborate with the Founder to facilitate contract discussions and final deal closure.
  • Track and report lead progress, conversion rates, and pipeline health.
  • Provide feedback to marketing and business development teams to refine outreach strategies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in bioinformatics, molecular biology, biotechnology, or a related field.
  • Experience in lead generation, sales, or business development within the biotech industry.
  • Strong understanding of bioinformatics solutions and their applications in research.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage a high volume of leads efficiently.
  • Effective communication skills with a scientific audience.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and data tracking.
  • Ability to work independently and meet aggressive sales targets.
