This is the same co-op program as our Research Assistant track, but focused on web infrastructure, backend systems, and Azure deployment for our GENOS Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platform and BioCredit ledger webapp. You will work under direct supervision to support deployments, API and service connections, and the operational backbone that powers our contracting and research platforms.
Important: The candidate must be within one year of attaining a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM, business, or related field. (If you just graduated Summer 2025 or are in your final academic semester, you qualify for the role.)

Role Description
As an Infrastructure Assistant, you will support the web infrastructure and backend systems that run the GENOS CLM platform and BioCredit ledger webapp. You will assist with Azure-based deployment, service connections, configuration, and monitoring, enabling the team to ship and operate production systems. You will work under direct supervision of the Founder and may also contribute to internal tooling and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Support deployment and operations of the GENOS CLM platform and BioCredit ledger webapp on Azure.
Assist with backend service configuration, API connections, and integration points.
Help maintain web infrastructure: app services, databases, networking, and security settings.
Contribute to deployment pipelines, environment configuration, and release processes.
Document infrastructure, runbooks, and connection patterns for internal use.
Participate in version control (Git) and infrastructure-as-code practices where applicable.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's-level coursework in computer science, software engineering, or a related technical field.
(Important) The candidate must be within one year of attaining the Bachelor's or Master's degree (or in final academic semester).
Interest or experience in web development, backend systems, or cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS/GCP acceptable).
Familiarity with APIs, databases, or deployment tooling (e.g. Git, CI/CD, app services).
Comfort in a technical environment with contract-lifecycle and research-platform context.
Strong attention to detail and documentation habits.
(Preferred) Exposure to Azure (App Service, Storage, SQL, or similar) or other cloud providers.
(Preferred) Familiarity with agentic coding tools (e.g. Cursor, GitHub Copilot) for infrastructure and scripting.
Compensation and Opportunity
$14,250 for 6 months of work ($15/hr 40FTE).
